Props to the Iowa Wrestlers Who Were Named 1st Team All-State in Football in 2019

I want to make this an annual thing and try to do this for every sport. I feel that when a wrestler succeeds in other sports or off the mat in general, that it is a good look for wrestling (as well as the other sports), for it is likely that some of the skills picked up in wrestling were beneficial for them in their “off-mat” accolades and vise-versa. PLEASE… If I am forgetting someone or have a typo, let me know and I will make up for it in a future post. This is my first try at this. Thank you and congratulations to all these guys!

HS Wrestlers from Iowa who were named 1st team all-state in football in 2019:

DB T.J. Lau- East Buchanan
